my early birthday gift from my father. i spotted this dall sheep some time ago out of about 100 other mounts; horses, kudu, water buffalo, bear, and numerous others... the only other mount i would have liked even more was two owls. a barn owl is still one thing i would love to have.

anyway. my father, knowing i liked the sheep, got this for my birthday and delivered it the other day -not waiting till my birthday because 1) he didnt have the room and 2) he was just excited to have it hung in my house. what a fantastic gift and i am very thankful.

so the latest in concerts is the iconcertcal plugin for itunes. its great for those music lovers trying to keep up on upcoming concerts. look into it, and download it.

my 60min snowman has lowered his beer bottle and is barely hanging on.

taco thursdays is still going on. nothing better than a fresh taco. i have finally found the perfect tortilla. the chalula doesnt stick around too long till its gone. new cajun powder gave a better flavor than the other style i was using. sarah made a fresh guac. and we shared green flash west coast ipa that nick baron brought over as a thank you. for some reason he thinks i paved his driveway.

speaking of nick and beer. we shared 2006 bigfoot and moylans hopsicle the other day and they were awesome. i plan to get a case of the bigfoot and the moylans was an outstanding tribute to hops. if you havent tried this beer, its a must.

skiing tomorrow. bright and early. 16inches in holiday valley and im sure a bunch more after tonight.

tonight was the ballet theatre fundraiser which was a nice time worth attending. i can say that i do enjoy watching ballet sometimes. but then again sometimes i hate it. tonight it was nice and enjoyable. i hope it was a success for them and would love to see the theatre open someday soon.

so we had one great snow here and it was most enjoyable. with all the excitement i called up bryce to see if i could hook up the plow and go have some fun. upon arriving i learned the truck was out of inspection and had a fuel line leak. after about a half days work at about one o'clock am todd and i got the truck on the road.

i spent about 24hours in the truck and just about broke even. there would have been more of a chance to make some cash but bryce went ahead and broke the plow. i ran to canfield a couple times for parts and after a call to a welder the plow is back together. good for the next storm.

i think tomorrow i will spend some time on the xc skis. should be a perfect day. later on tomorrow night is the shenango valley ballet theatre fundraiser. somehow a persuaded a great date to go with me and i am looking forward to a great time.

i just got a save the date in the mail from kate robinson. i cant wait for that and will attempt to make that trip a long one. spring is creeping around the corner as february is half way over. it will be nice to start working hard outside.

taco thursdays has been a real hit. it seems as everyone keeps advancing in guitar hero and i continue to get worst. they say your either first or last and i am last in this race.

finally watched "the notebook" good movie - i thought they could have done the introduction fifty years down the road better. my favorite part of course is when goslings character started rebuilding the house. easily the best part. that alzheimer's is for the birds. what does that mean anyway....is that saying the birds deserve the bad stuff. i take that back.

does inarticulate mean stupid. i say no since i am inarticulate but i do think this guy is stupid.

taco thursdays, an ingenious idea thought up by joe and i. thats where we will be on thursdays, here eating tacos and drinking beers.
